Surely Ibn Zaydun, in spite of his prestige,
Was ringing from the bars of his pants.
If one saw his penis, on some palm tree,
He would be the fastest bird.
Certainly Ibn Zaydun, despite his prestige,
Slanders me unjustly, without any shame whatsoever.
Every time he approaches me, he looks at me with rancor,
As if I were coming to castrate Ali.
-Wallada bint Al-Mustakfi (1001 – 1091)
